ME IS HAPPY :)

Hey friends and family!!! I hope more people than my grandparents read this emails lolz but I hope you all had an amazing Christmas, here's my week!

Tuesday- We taught Warner and he's just cuter than ever! He reads the Book of Mormon more than I do he's so golden :):) not that much happened Tuesday...

Wednesday- Well ummm ya so 3 years ago from this day (21st) I was baptized by brocky poo so that was a good day!  Then we went to this place called Sheepshead Bay and did some look ups or less active members. Then we went to Bdubs and that was more than enjoyable

Thursday- We had exchanges with the zone leaders and I was with Jeppson he is so dope. We went to downtown Brooklyn and did some look ups. Then we went to get on a train and we look out side the train and we got on the wrong train we were goin over the Manhattan bridge. Oh man it was hilarious cause it's not even our mission so that scared us a lil hahaha, but we made it back safely! Then we exchanged back at like 7pm and Thompson and I went to Sister Charles house she's a Haitian member. Doesn't speak English hahaha. We took her with us to teach one of our investigators Ann Marie. Sister Charles threw down her testimony it was sooo good.

Friday- we had the mission wide Christmas party and it was more than fun!! We all did skits! My zones was pretty funny :) I'll try and find the video. Then we ate, there I got to see Robinson my amazing trainer and so that made my day hahaha once you train for yourself you love your trainer so much more after. Oh btw I went to Panda after.

Saturday- Well Christmas Eve yay!!! Didn't feel like Christmas Eve at all cause ya not with my fam but it was still a good day. We went out to the tip of the island of Brooklyn and looked up an in active well he moved 15 years ago so umm no clue where he went. Then we went to this like wet land area and it was weird first time I was surrounded by trees for the first time in 5 months

Sunday- BEST DAY EVER OMG. I got to talk with my mommy and I missed her face so very much. Bridger is still a douche but that's ok I'm sure it'll fade off before I get home haha. Sorry I won't go off of talkin with them, but it was awesome talking with the fam and new fam and my friends. Love and miss you all soooo sooo much :) here's some pics!!

Downtown Brooklyn

Me and my Haitians

Cool place that didn't feel like Brooklyn lol

TANNER HAMMOND IS HOT AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Well my subject line is the best 2 things I can think of right now ;) I also hecka miss tanner haha. This week was good! Wayyyy cold it's like 10 degrees outside so kinda sucks, here's my week!

Tuesday- we went and dropped off Robinson and it was more than sad :/ my amazing trainee just gone haha. He just went to like 20 min away so not too far so I'll see him here and there. We later went and looked up inactive people. All of them are Russians man I just can't do it. I speak 2 languages but there's sooo many more here. Like Russian??? I don't understand any of them we go to haha kinda sucks but way cool at the same time I guess.

Wednesday- we had service and district meeting they both were pretty good :) Elder Thompson and I went to teach Warner and he was just in his underwear the whole lesson, oh my gosh that man is awesome hahahaha. This day I was way home sick cause idk why??? Hahaha anyways the day ended awesome I was just one happy fella.

Thursday- all 3 lessons we had set up canceled so that really made me mad but ya know it's okay.... so we were on the train and this guy gets once start talking he asks who we are and stuff. I go "so you have a religion yourself?" He goes "no, I don't believe in God" I'm like "oh so like do you believe in a higher power?" He's like "no, I believe in myself" then he goes on to tell us how could we believe in the Book of Mormon we're stupid we're young we should know better then I'm like "so how do you think we got here?" He goes "idk Evolution" I was pissed hahaha, then as we are getting off the train he goes "by the way I'm a return missionary" instant gut shot man... I was like so sad bout it. First of all not to knock anyone but believe in yourself man?

Friday-  We taught our first Creole lesson together to Ann Marie and we taught the plan of salvation and I thought we did exceptionally well. Besides she was like how do we have families after death and I'm like well Ann Marie I'll get back to you on that. Cause I had no idea how to explain that in creole yet!

Saturday- well it was my first b-day away from home hahaha definitely didn't feel like my birthday so it was weird. That's the cool thing about the mission you don't ever focus on yourself you give all your time to the people around you. Don't worry about yourself just others. Then we had the ward Christmas party! Honestly so fun. Warner came and like the whole ward was downstairs eating and he goes "King watch this" in my head I'm like "oh fetch what is he gonna do" he stands up and yells at the whole ward and goes "Hey it's Elder Kings birthday today can we all sing him happy birthday!??" I think that was the happiest I've been in my life. When people from home weren't givin me as much as attention as I used to get my new family gave it all at once and I was beyond happy. Ugh such a great night. I love my mission sooooo much. Then the elders and sister came and brought me ice cream when we got home and that was hecka good

Sunday- good ol church and then we were in the bus on the way to Terry's and my comp and I started speaking creole and like half the bus was Haitian and their minds were blown hahaha. We got a couple of their numbers. Then we missed our bus stop and like 7 people helped us find out how to get where we going. People in the streets haven't been nice to me like that my whole mission it was awesome haha :)

That was my week I love you all and miss you all so so much MERRY CHRISTMAS! I can't wait to see some of your faces in a week!!!! I miss my family soooooo much. Especially Trav and Bridger :/ as much as I thought I wouldn't say that haha. Anyways don't forget I'm still human so you can wish me a Merry Christmas;) okay bye here's some pics!!

SECOND TRANSFER OVER

Suppppp :) I've been sooooo happy this week!! Haha here's my week! Sorry if my email is too long just try to read it, it's good I promise :):)

Last Monday- so p day sucked for sure hahahaha we got groceries and didn't even get to do laundry so this week has been a struggle. then we went to Rego (the mission office) met the APs there and they took me and two Chinese elders to get our trainees. So we get there to meet them and I look in the room. This tall 6'5 white kid is just standing there clueless out of his mind hahahahaha his name is Elder Thompson. So I go "sak pase monchè" he's like I'm good. So I was mad he didn't hit me back up, but me Robinson and Thompson (new comp) just sat with the APs and it was actually way dope! He's super cool. He played ball in high school. Way mad cause I haven't had a comp I'm taller than yet so like ya. Way personable kid! I love him already! Me Robinson and Thompson have been in a trio this whole week. Robinson will leave this week.

Tuesday-first whole day for my trainee and I'd say it went well!! We went and taught Warner which went way good!! He's so anxious and so excited to get baptized. Bishop told us Jan 15th would be the best day. So we're looking forward to that! It's so weird seeing my trainee scared to talk to people on the street like I was literally there 12 weeks ago, so we need to work on that cause he needs to get comfortable with people. Baby steps haha. Then we went to dinner with Terry and it was way good. She paid so thank goodness cause money don't grow on trees I've come to realize. Terry is my mission mom idk if I've said that but she is hahah

Wednesday- We had district meeting and service nothing really happened. We went on exchanges and me and Thompson went with Saintran to a Haitian lady's house and she fed us so that was good.

Thursday- We had Zone meeting and it went pretty good! As always. Then we went to Junior Bella's a pizza joint on the corner from our apartment tasted so bomb. Then we had ward correlation with Brother Uland and it went way good! He made us chocolate chip raisin cookies I hate raisins more than life but I ate the cookies and it was actually good hahaha.

Friday- We went and looked up In-active people in Brighton beach. Omg soooo many Russians literally it's like I'm in Russia hahaha.  They're actually very nice people. GUESS WHAT?!?? My trainee talked to his first person on the street! He looks at Rob and I after and just starts dancing, we just like ran and hugged him. Very proud moment Hahahahahaha I love him already. Oh and Thompson had bread and threw it at seagulls on the beach and they literally attacked us hahahahahah we were so scared lolz

Saturday- I had trainer meeting today and they literally tell you your trainees life is in your hands like I make or break his mission hahaha. I'm like ight I just started but I got this no problem. Meeting was super good I learned a lot. Then I ATE AT PANDA AGAIN. I will update you guys every time I eat there FYI. Then in our way home from Rego we were on the train at a stop in Manhattan and this guy starts screaming and saying all this bull and starts ripping off all his clothes he goes "I own this! This is my shi**!" Just one of his few sentences. Everyone just runs off the train and I'm like just standing there so intrigued I didn't even think. Then cop came and got him off then we were off on our way home.

Sunday- we had church went way good! I did a lot of translating today so that was good! My trainee can't understand which is very understandable for sure, but it was fun :) met this way cool kid that served in Brazil from Tennessee he's dope. Don't remember his name but he was chill. Then we went over to Terry's with Saintran and Jeppson cause Saintran leave back to the Dominican Republic on Wednesday he is finished so that's sad. Oh and it snowed a lil bit :)

That was my week fam and friends :) just wanna say I love you and this gospel with all my heart. This week has probs been one of my most favorite weeks of the mission so far I'm so darn happy :):) okay have a good week! Here's some pics!

Ps... my birthday is ummm this Saturday and I'm still human so tell me happy birthday

I'M TRAINING!!!

What up my family and friends?? So Friday night I got a call and I'm training the new Haitian Creole speaker comin in today! So that'll be fun :) Robinson my current companion will be with us for a week cause transfers aren't till next week! Wish me luck! here's my weeeek!!

Tuesday- Well our p day got moved to this day cause we had interviews on Monday which btw went good :) I got some sexy winter boots so we good. Bout all we did cause weather was bad/:

Wednesday- We went and found this less active guy and him and his wife invited us in, well turns out they both can't speak English just Russian. The wife spoke a tad bit of English so that was good hahaha we gave them a scripture she read it in Russian and told us what it means to her, didn't understand but it was awesome! She was at church on Sunday :):)

Thursday- We taught good ol warn dawg he's so freakin awesome straight up know I was supposed to meet this man. In pre earth life I was probs like "breh I'm comin to change your life just give me like 58 years so do you till I get there" something like that hahaha.

Friday- Holy weirdness we went all the way out to Brighton beach and we got to this neighborhood  and it was dead quiet. Oh my so weird I'm so used to noise 24/7 it was like I was back in Utah hahaha. Btw every morning and night I fall asleep and wake up to sirens. In the mornings it's like 5:00am and cops and fire trucks are goin off I'm like what in the flip could be happening this early. Then I got my training call!!! I was so excited for some reason lolz but I can't wait I'll grow a lot in just the first of my mission so I'm happy bout that.

Saturday- So this morning we had the amazing opportunity to go to the Manhattan temple with this Haitian family, Brother and Sister Charles it was so awesome!! Brother Charles got to do baptisms for his Dad and his grandmother. His dad died 1 year exactly from the day we went so that was so freakin cool. Well ladies and gents this was probs the weirdest night of my mission by far. We looked up this in-active member she was Russian and she lived with her dad. So she like tells us 4 times that Joseph Smith was a prophet hahaha way cool. Then she was gettin weird and stuff we were about to leave and she goes "wanna see my kitty?" We were like a ya!! So brings the cat out and asks us to give her cat a blessing, we were like umm we don't think we can do that?? Hahaha she does do it. My comps like we can say a prayer for him? She goes okay.. then my comp says the prayer I almost died cause I wanted to laugh so hard, ugh good times. Then I gave her a blessing my first 1 on the mish!! Pretty cool. That whole experience kinda creeped me out not in a rude way...

Sunday- Good day, church like always!!!!! T-Rob and I talked to 100 people on the streets today so that was awesome, bout it hahaha.

Here's some pics!!

CHEN GEN KAY PAT SHE YON SEL CHEMEN LE FE

Here we are again soooo weird I'm almost done with my 2nd transfer. My subject line literally translated means the dog has four paws, but it only takes one path. It's like one thing at a time :) so I just was like how perfect just take one thing at a time and everything will flow. Okay dokay here's my week!

Tuesday- We had district meeting and one of the APs came to it hahahaha it was scary cause they're like mega missionaries like robots lol. Then we were contacting on the street and this Haitian lady went off saying give someone a card that needs jezikri because she has him and I'm like chill ur face I'm just trying to be nice but she was great :):)

Wednesday-So no clue what we did, only thing I got is we walked down this ally way and there was these 3 guys worshiping this backpack not judging or anything but WHAT THE FLIP?¿ I was so confused. So one of the sisters called the cops they were so scared it was embarrassing but it was okay! Haha oh and we had service we cleaned up the park.

Thursday- THANKSGIVING first holiday on the mish and I'd say it went way good. We went and played football as a zone and it was so fun! I balled of course cause I'm the best ;) on the way home my companion the awesome guy he is runs across the street to catch the bus so I follow suit and a CAR COMES OUT OF NO WHERE. Literally the car touched the hair on my legs. I was so close to dying no lie.

Friday-So we got a new date for Warner it was for Dec 4th but he didn't come to church today so we bumped it up to Dec 18th so hopefully we can do it :)

Saturday- We taught this new investigator named Mary Blaze we taught her at the door cause no one was home so that sucked but she said she'll try to come to church next Sunday so we'll see! I've been studying Moroni Chapter 7 and lemme tell ya that chapter is by far my fav chapter. Literally if you follow it everything else will come. I challenge all y'all to read it cause I love it :)

Sunday- we had church and it was good! Then we talked to like a ton of people on the street which was fun :)

I love you all so so much have a blessed week! Hope to hear from you all! Here's some pics

THANKSGIVING WEEK

Hello everyone :) hope all is well. Here's my week!!

Tuesday-We got a call from Warner that he did something stupid hahaha so we went to his house and just wanted to hang out. Then after we went to the Chinese restaurant, it was alright but like once you go panda you never go back...then that night I was goin up to this couple to give them a card and the dude puts his hand out and says "don't", I'm like aight Bryson Tiller my bad.. (sorry for you old people who don't know who that is..)

Wednesday-we had service at prospect park it is so beautiful ugh. Then we went over to Lectors house he's a recent convert and we said to come over to teach his wife. We were way excited but she kinda bashed with us. It was still a good lesson tho. Besides she said she doesn't like Mormons lol.

Thursday- We went over to the Library to get on family history for a recent convert/part member family so that we can get names and take them to the temple. Then we talked to this Haitian guy on the train, way cool dude, names Frank. Something cool bout speaking creole is every time we speak it their like heart melts they love us so much.

Friday-We had mega zone conference, that's where like 5 zones get together and president shows us a bunch of stuff. It was way good! After the meeting me, Elder Garcia, Elder Robinson, and a couple elders and sisters were chillin in the gym and Garcia and Sister Figro like started step battling and they started videoing it. Then president walked in hahaha he walked around saw the video recording and he goes "what's that for?" Elder Garcia goes "we're having a step battle show us your talents president!" He goes "I'm here to do missionary work sorry" hahahahahahaha straight toasted us so hard. Wow it was awesome he even laughed at himself. He's awesome.

Saturday- the fullest day we had all week. We taught 4 lessons in a day and here in NY that's good. Missionaries with cars teach hecka lessons but we have to walk or take a train/bus somewhere and we cover allll of Brooklyn cause we're Creole. So we were pumped we taught that many haha. We taught this Haitian lady and her nephew Lealea. Mary was super cool and stuff but her nephew was like only bible rawrrrr and we were like dawg chill read the book pray about it. Then I shared my conversion story gosh I feel the spirit so hard every time I share it. Kinda selfish of me idk but ya. Thought they enjoyed it. Heard my first gunshot!!! Yayyyyy!! (Don't worry mom I was in my apartment)

Sunday- we had good ol church which was good. Our bishop hates missionaries so I'm confused there. I want my bishop back, this new guy literally just ugh so mean. Then we went over to the Millers house. He used to be the patriarch but he's gotten way old. His family like started the church here in Brooklyn hahahahah. They have a special needs son, he's so freakin funny!! At the dinner table (where the food she prepared was like being home at thanksgiving freakin bomb) and he just kept like drinking then making that refreshing sound people make idk. We were all dying hahaha. Then they have this board where everyone that sleeps over they their house they sign and you'll never believe this but Thomas S Monson singed it!!! He was Brother Millers bishop when he was a teenager in Utah!!! So cool.

There's my week :) THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TOILET PAPER LITERALLY SAVED OUR LIVES. YOU GUYS ROCK!! Love you all so so much. The church is true and I still love you :) that was cute huh? Just thought of it lolz ok bye here's some pics.

FIRST STAKE CONFERENCE

Well family and friends here I am I again tellin ya about my week but this time we have a new president Trumpy trump. I don't really give a care bout politics especially now that I'm a missionary, but I do wanna say one thing. Complaining about how he was elected literally won't change anything just make you look bad hahaha. Okay now back to more important things like myself.

Tuesday- man oh man we had district meeting and the zone leaders brought one of the young men his names ramen deffs not his name but like don't remember it. Anyways after they pawned him off on us and we were going to teach Warner which wasn't the best guy for him to come teaching with but it went a lot better than expected so that was good :) Good ol God the home boy tested our faith this night. We had a goal to talk to 30 people and teach 1 street lesson. Well we got to 29 people and didn't teach a lesson so I was getting annoyed and was like ok I'm counting down from 15 sec then talking to somebody and we're leaving well that person wanted nothing to do with us. Then the 31st person was awesome! He was a Haitian guy super interested and we got his number!

Wednesday- we had exchanges and I was with Elder Jeppson total homie love him. We went and taught Warner again hahaha this time his closing prayer he goes "god I'm 65 years old and the woman are flocking to me so please keep them comin" literally almost just died mid prayer. Then went and taught this part member Haitian family. So like Jeppson doesn't speak creole so I was all by myself. We taught the plan of salvation Jeppson nodded his head at everything so it went pretty good.

Thursday- so my awesome comp and I were walking past these 10 Muslim guys standing taking and I go "you ain't down to talk to them?" He goes "bro I'm so down" so he went and talked to them gave them all a card hahahaha I don't think they liked it but it was good!

Friday- Robinson and I went and did some bible drop offs and the people we went to were like "we aren't interested" and I'm like then why in the flip flop did you order the dang bible you ding face. Anyways on our way to the last house we saw swings and I was like bro let's go swing on some swings we deserve it. So we swung for like 10 min. Super satisfying hahaha you'd only know If you were a missionary hahahaha. Then we went on this street literally sentispri orevwa which means goodbye Holy Ghost hahaha. It was so creepy oh my gosh. We made it out alive tho.

Saturday- did some more bible drop offs then had this adult stake conference went pretty good. I heard something I really liked. The gospel is like playing an instrument you can practice once a week and ya you'll progress but you'll plateau at a certain point. In order to become the best of your ability you most practice at opportunity you have. So like the gospel ya you can go to church every Sunday but if you don't follow and practice it you won't learn as much. You need to always live it not just once a week. Ya feel?! Loved it.

Sunday- stake conference went way good! Me, Elder Robinson, and Elder Saintran translated in creole way cool. Then we just talked to people on the street and stuff! Haha the temple president was there and his wife at stake conference. His wife comes up to me, feels my hair and goes "is this mission appropriate?" I go "umm my mission president hasn't said anything so I think it's okay" she goes "well honey don't be a rebellious missionary" and in my head I'm like am I bout to swing on the temple presidents wife? Lolz jk way wouldn't do that but I was thinking it hahaha.

Well there's my week! Love you all :) don't forget to email me, here's some pics!

BAD LUCK MONTH

Hello famni epi Zamni!! Hope all is well :) this month in the past is the most unluckiest month of my life. For the people that don't know I've been in the hospital 2 years in a row this month. With both head injuries hahahaha so let's pray I don't get any flying objects thrown at my head this month!! Here's my week!!

Tuesday- Probs the best day of my life of the mish so far. I had the amazing opportunity to partake of Panda Express. Literally tasted so amazing I dropped like $15 so probs will be broke this transfer way worth it tho.  Besides that we had transfer meeting which is always cool. Then leadership meeting cause my comp is district leader. If you've served a mission or are on one you know so much butt kissing in one meeting so I stood up and told everyone that being in a leadership position doesn't matter it's just a label you're the same as me lol.

Wednesday- We taught Anastasia and Warner which was good. Anastasia is a new investigator she's 21 Haitian girl. Her like whole family is LDS but she's not feeling it right now. Then we had district meeting, we have a new sister, Sister Cate she's a creole sister. Then new ZL his name is Elder Jeppson total homie.

Thursday- 3 month mark so that's crazy haha. We taught Annmarie cute old Haitian lady, baptismal date for January 15th way far away we'll see what happens. Then ward correlation, our new ward mission leader is a homie, lived in Utah for awhile.

Friday- Taught Warner again kinda just a bro, he's like my dad of the mission haha, freakin love him.

Saturday- We taught a ton of street lessons to Haitian people, way awesome. So at the end of the day me, Elder Robison (my comp), Elder Jeppson, and Elder Saintran go into this side market to get toilet paper cause we were all out. We go dang this huge bag has like so many rolls so we'll split the check. Well we get home open it up and it was just a huge bag of paper towels 😂😂😂 we all just lost it hahaha we were so mad cause it was $20!!

Sunday- I'm gonna be honest our bishop hates missionaries so it's sucks haha. I speak more creole than English on Sundays so that's weird. Then we were leaving this less actives house at night and this old lady comes up to us and asks us who's car that is and we didn't know. She fell and her phone fell under it. So we go under there with a flash light and grabbed her phone. Her and her husband invited us inside and we shared our message with them. She later tells us that she was praying about the phone and next thing she knew we were right in front of her. So that was so amazing to me. God works in mysterious ways.

Okay love you all, have a good week! And don't forget to write me ;) that pic of me eating the donut is from last week lolz

FIRST TRANSFER DOWN

Yo fam and friends :) it's so flipping crazy how fast these weeks go by I swear I write this same email everyday hahaha. Here is my week :)

Well for p day last week we went to Brooklyn Bridge park soooo dope :)
Tuesday we taught Warner and I'm worried haha this man just treats us like bros now not good but good at the same time idk. We shared 2 Nephi: 31 with him, he just doesn't get it but he's moving along slowly :)

Wednesday was so successful holy sweetness :) well we had service at this park that was so beautiful it's called prospect park! Then we contacted these bible referrals. One of them this Haitian lady so sweet her 12 year old daughter ordered a French Book of Mormon so we brought it and taught them! They want to keep learning so it was great :) then we got another investigator named Annmarie cute little old Haitian lady she's a gem. Elder Robinson and I faked knowing sign language on the train people were so confused hahahaha.

Thursday we went to lunch with some friends I have back home it was way awesome :) they showed me the iPhone 7 and holy balls already missed an iPhone and only been out for 3 months.

Friday was Papa Kings birthday:) that's the only thing haha

Saturday was the ward Halloween party soooooo fun :) made me feel at home (even tho I'd never go to a ward Halloween party at home??) anyways my comp and I dressed up as disobedient missionaries hhaha skinny dies and fancy socks you could say it got out of hand ;) these teenage kids at McDonald's looked at me and go "who the F*** are you?" In my head I was like oh you wanna know who I am you little punk but then I remembered Charity and love and be Christlike so I just didn't say anything got a DP and left. Very proud of myself.

Sunday- we went to church

Love you all and have a good week plz :):)

FRIES THAT'LL CROSS YO EYES

You may ask does this subject line have a good story behind it? Answer is no, no it doesn't. So hey there I want to apologize for my infinite grammar mistakes I made last week in my email. As I re-read it I was like I'm such an idiot, so if I make more my bad I'm just cruisin so I can go to bed hahaha. Anyways wazzzz up?!? How are all you??? I don't know why I'm asking not like you're gonna read that and go "wow I'm doin good thank you" hahaha ok movin onto my week :)

Tuesday- Soooooo slow but we were walking down the street and these kids on the basketball court were playing and were like "hey you two white boys come play us" for you that know this is my fantasy coming true hehe so we were like ya sure. All their friends were like "those guys are gonna crush you they probs play college ball" in my head I'm like I didn't even play HS even tho I was better than everyone in the team ;) so it was my comp and I verse 3 of them and we beat them 16-5 and they agreed to hear our message if we won so that was good. In district meeting we asked "who's most likely to be famous" and "who's most likely to be the most successful" well family friends shockingly enough everyone picked me hahahaha. I was like if all my boys were with me they'd counter that so hard.

Wednesday- We went on exchanges with the zone leaders and I was with Elder Fowles if we weren't on a mission probs would throat jab him?? But we got along all day hahaha so that was good. He's an English missionary so every time we contacted a Haitian I was the money man. I spoke more creole in 1 day then I have my whole mission it was awesome :)

Thursday- We went to good ol' Warners house he called us "hey I'm lonely will you guys come hang out with me?" Such cute old man hahaha. So I got these amazing jolly rancher bites from the Jeffs family (shouts for that btw hehe) so I took them with me cause literally taste so amazing! So I go "Warner do you want me to blow your mind right now?" He goes "as long as it's just my mind!" We laughed so hard. I pull out the bites he goes "oh candy!!" So I gave him one and he asks if he could have the whole bag hahahah I was like umm ya sure Warner if you get baptized already!!! Jk I didn't say that but sure wanted to haha.

Friday-We had deep cleaning so not a lot happened today.. again I'm gonna tell a story that made my head grow a little bigger. So we were just chillin at McDonald's and I went to the little men's room. Came out and these 2 Haitian girls that worked there were speaking creole and little did they know that my comp and I speak creole hehe they were like "that guy in the back is way cute" the other one "yeah he's fine" my comp turns to me and goes "literally you're so gay I'm so sick of it" hahaha I was like dude I promise this wasn't how it was back home girls hated me.

Saturday- this day just sucked haha soooo cold and windy like ugh way bad. Went to downtown Brooklyn which was cool :) bout it.

Sunday- we had a good Sunday my comp and I translated sacrament for the Haitians! Way harder than you'd think hahaha. Then we went to Terry's and taught her about Enduring to the End and we explained how important that is to us :) so that was cool!!

Okay that was my week! It was good but slow! Love you all and stay fresh!!

I SHOOK ELDER HOLLANDS HAND

So family and friends I'm not trying to brag or anything but I looked into an apostles eyes this Sunday and lemme tell ya this church is so true like no doubt. I wish you all could all experience what I did. He talked to us and it was literally the most amazing thing I've ever experienced. After today my perspective on life is so different. I know I say I've changed every week but dang I do change every week! My love for this gospel grows every second of everyday. I just want to type all day to you guys about how much I love it. I'll shut up now and tell you about my week.

Tuesday- We had trainer trainee meeting it was good. I ordered a French name tag so I'm pumped haha, and a English just for fun.

Wednesday - so imma be straight up with y'all way forgot to write in my journal this day so you could say I literally remember nothing, the church was still true on that day tho ;)

Thursday- We went to Coney Island to talk to Jenny but Jenny has literally bailed on us 4 times in a row so Jenny ain't feeling us anymore you could say hahaha. Then we had some AWESOME WEEKLY PLANNING!!! So amazing love it so much, sense sarcasm haha? I contacted in 3 languages, I'm coming for your Spanish T-Ham. Mwen pale tankou rat, which means I speak like a rat, it's a saying in Creole so that's how I'm gonna speak Spanish too hehe. Then we got this Haitians number super cool dude turns out gave me a fake number so that's chill didn't wanna talk to him anyway.

Friday- We had district meeting it was way good I love my district half of us are converts so I'm not the only one so it's cool :) I gave a "workshop" on the Book of Mormon which is like a lesson and I'd say I totally owned it haha. We met this way sick guy at Newkirk plaza he talked to me about the restoration, we gave him a BOM hopefully he calls us :)

Saturday- We had zone training meeting it was good! Pretty sure my zone thinks I'm weird cause I just speak what's on my mind and they give me weird looks but they can eat it cause I'm just doin me, haha jk I love them. We talked to this Haitian family later that night. They always tell me I don't speak creole but I blew them away this lesson #giftoftonguesisreal they loved my prayer haha I was so happy they accepted me. We got them their temple recommendations so we're going to the temple Saturday!!! I get to go to Manhattan I'm so happy, I miss the temple.
My comp and I were sitting there and this girl walks by (this whole convo is in creole) so I go "think she's hot?" He goes, "look again" and then we look in front of us and the people in front of us were Haitian, understood everything! I know, I know, shame on me bad missionary ;)

Sunday- The day we got to hear from the one and only Elder Holland. Like I said before this was the best day of my life most spiritual day of my life. He has such a way with words, he can just touch your heart. As I shook his hand and looked into his eyes I felt something I've never felt. So amazing:) I think he blessed me with the gift of tongues cause I spoke some fire creole tonight during a lesson best creole I've ever spoke haha.

Ok here's some pics :) shouts to you for reading all this thanks for being you and don't forget to email me, love to hear bout you all!! Hope you're all doing so good

FET BLAN MOURI NWA

My subject line means (born white die black) haha. Hello my favorite people ever that actually care what I'm doing with my life hahaha I hope you're all killin it in whatever you're doin

So I'm not gonna go day by day this week I'm just gonna give stories and stuff! So last p day I didn't get to tell you guys about this I literally almost died haha well at least I thought. So this Haitian lady asked us to help her move from 10-11 which is cool, I'm down to help but like we all know we aren't just gonna move just in 1 hour haha. So we get everything moved out of the apartment and then took all her stuff to the other apartment building. Well little did we know going into this place we would be threatened in some crazy languages hahaha. These lady's from Saudi Arabia or whatever idk they started yelling at my comp and I, things like "LEAVE NOW LEAVE YOU DONT BELONG HERE" she literally was chanting so many things at us. Then we got kicked out, then the owner of the building and the owner of the apartment like almost got into a first fight so crazy hahaha. So many things happen that I'm not putting tho it's just too much. We finally got in this way long process cops were called and stuff. I literally didn't feel like I was in America anymore hahaha.

THEN THE NEXT DANG DAY we were in a lesson with Warner, and the zone leaders called us like 4 times and I didn't answer cause trying to save Warners salvation? Hahaha kidding but for reals we were dropping hard knowledge. They showed up to his apartment and told us our apartment was on fire. We sprinted all the way to our place, so far. Let's just Beau Beau is out of shape I mean my bods still bangin but like can't breath haha. We walk into our apartment and you couldn't see the other side of the room cause so much smoke hahaha. My comp left the chicken in the pot with it still on hahaha. So now our whole apartment smells like smoke we had to do laundry all over again /:

Then we were walking down the street and this lady opens her window and goes "you Mormons?" We go "yep!" Then She's like "you guys practice Polygamy huh?" Hahaha my first reaction I just laughed I felt bad haha. Then it just turned into a bible bash kinda annoying but it's whatevs.

I've had a really good week!! I just wanna share something with you guys. I've been thinking a lot on how I can improve myself on just being a better person and better missionary. I've been studying Christlike attributes like I told you last week. It's helped me so much. I learned something that will and has changed me. Yes I love when people love me, but I love it more when people trust me and love me. If I can show the investigators or people I'm around that I care for them and love them I earn their trust. That honestly means the world to me. I'm gaining such an amazing love for the people of New York. I can't believe I've learned so much in such little time. I can honestly say I've matured in certain areas that have made me really look at life differently. I mean don't worry I'm still the kid that tries way too hard to make people laugh but I know now what my purpose is here in life. I love this gospel with my whole heart. I love my mission with my whole heart. This is the best thing anyone could do in their life's (big thing to say but it's true). I love every single one of you. For all of you that have been there for me during this whole process you're truly a blessing. Whether you taught me dumb, smart, bad, good things you've taught me something that I apply everyday to make myself better and for those who are not LDS on my email list God loves you just as much. I can say just in these 2 months I am forever changed. I love you all and stay classy! Peace out y'all!

SAK PASE!

Ki Jan ou ye?! Hello everyone! Here's my week :)

Madi- So let me tell you guys about Warner. He's an investigator of ours he's one of the coolest people I know. Served in Vietnam way sick dude. Loves us so much. Hugs and kisses our cheeks every time he sees us hahaha. So today he told us all these war stories and I'm so interested in it haha he just has so many. He told us top secret stuff! Then we went to this Haitians house and had some Haitian food and it was sooo good! Then had district meeting same old meeting hahaha.

Mèkredi- Holy crap we had mega zone conference that's where like 3 or 4 zones come together and prezi prez comes and talks to us and we have a huge meeting. We were at the church from 8:15-4:15 way long day and my comp was just sitting there and he looked at me and said "what does God want us to learn on our missions?" And I was like fetch breh good question so that's been something I've been thinking about lately.

Jedi- Oh my gosh we had such a good lesson with Warner!! We committed him to baptism for November 6th!!!! He called us after we left and said that was the best lesson he's ever been taught. He told us during the lesson he feels something warm inside. My comp and I look at each other and go "that's the Holy Ghost Warner!! That's awesome!" It was amazing I felt the spirit so hard during that lesson.

Vandredi- We went on exchanges with the ZLs so I was Elder Saintran he's from Haiti speaks 4 languages!! Creole, French, Spanish, English. He's like a super missionary hahaha. We went finding lost sheep (less active members) no one answered the doors we knocked on 3. We walked so much hahaha. I get called "Blan" literally Haitian house we go to it's so annoying haha. It means white idk If I told you guys that haha. I bought a sexy hat tho. We were walking down the street and this girl sees me and yells "Oh my gosh are you British??" Hahaha I just turn to her and said no and she looked like mad at me lolz. I'm mad I didn't just fake an accent haha. I've been studying hecka Christ like attributes and it's been helping me a lot :)

Samdi- My first priesthood session here in NY. It was good! We just chilled at the church the whole time. Then we went to Applebee's after the first session my comp left our card for the waitress. Then we were walking back to the church and this older guy yelled for us and started talking to us and he's a member from Manhattan but he moved to Brooklyn and didn't know where the church was so we showed him! He asked for our picture hahaha. He was like "I wanna hang with you guys we should hang soon!" Way cool guy.

Dimanch- Today was my first GC on the mish. So weird seeing a place that's ten min away from my house hahaha. It was a way good conference. I learned something that an apostle said "the only opinion that matters is Gods" and I was like shoot that's way right hahaha. Then we had lunch there way good. Then after conference we went contacting and I contacted someone in Spanish hahaha. All I know is do you speak Spanish? And we are the missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Said that to the guy in Spanish and took a card I was like heck to the ya haha. So you could say I'm already trilingual hahaha. So a solid day I'd say.

Tuesday- We had a transfer meeting so all the missionaries in the mission got together to go to their different areas. Superrrrr boring. My new apartment is way bigger than my last one and ya bout it.

Wednesday- We taught a older Haitian lady I mean I didn't say one word but I did pray that's literally all I can do right now. Then I met terry she's like the mission mom she takes care of us awesome lady kinda reminds me of my mom hahaha doesn't give a flip jack what people think haha. Then we went to this Nike outlet place I got some sick Nike/Brooklyn stuff :)

Thursday- We were on the train and this homie gets on with a violin and just goes in! Was so sick haha. I yelled "heck ya!!" Turns to me and goes "got any money for me?" I go umm "no" gave me such a dirty look. Imma be honest none of that happened I just made it up cause I wanted to make the story sound better lolz. He was way good tho haha. Thennnnn MY BOI B-CHILDS GOT HIS CALL TO BRAZIL 🇧🇷 so freaking proud of him :)

Friday- We went to the Cony Island Projects hahahaha gosh man lets just say culture shock for Beau Beau. We went to the beach actually way beautiful major Cali vibes for sure. Talked to this Russian lady way nice told us she hopes her daughter marries someone like me or my comp so nice of her.  Then we got to the project buildings they had security at the door we had to sign in and all that jazz. Then we get to the apartment we were going to. This Haitian girl answers the door and like literally almost dies cause we're 2 white boys in the projects anyways she got her older sister Jenny and we taught her and guess what?!!? WE GOT A BAPTISMAL DATE Oct 16 :) I hope it goes through! Then as we leave the littlest sister comes up to me and goes "how old are you?" I'm like "18" the 16 year old girl comes up to me with super sass/flirting and goes "I'm 18 too!" Whole family goes shut up you're 16 she like hits them telling them to shut up hahahaha. We left and she wouldn't stop saying bye to us then closes the door and yells "THEY ARE SO HOT" I was like dang it's been like forever since I've been complimented like that haha.

Saturday- Some Jews came up to us and said "we want change can you help with that?" We go "umm yes, yes we can" gave a card to call us. Never called us lol must of been playing with us. By the way so many Jews here. Get the dirtiest looks ever lol.

Sunday- First Sunday in Brooklyn a lot more people came felt more like home. Then we had Creole Sunday school I get owned sooooo hard hahaha even my comp had a hard time keeping up cause they were speaking so fast.
