HALFWAY THROUGH THE MTC :)

Bonjou mwen manke nou!! Mwen espwa ou fè byen! My week has been pretty good so far. Here is my week :)

Monday- We had service and there was these 3 polys that are way sketchy. They were cleaning the same building that I was cleaning and I like walked past them and just yelled sounds acting like it was my language hahaha, but like they all started yelling at me an stuff and I was like wait did that mean something bad?? They go ya it does. So I felt so awkward. I went and talked to a couple of Tongans in my zone that spoke the language and they said it meant nothing and those guys were messing with me so I was so mad haha. I wrote in my Journal that Brady got his call but he's super gay and lied to me so ya hahahaha. I had a heart to heart with one of my teachers his name is Augustine he's a homie I just vent to him when I'm about to throat punch someone he always is just there for me haha.  Elder Wolfgramm and I did a mouth wash contest who could hold it in our mouths the longest hahah way dumb idea, but we just spit it out at the same time our mouths were numb hahaha :)

Tuesday-Welll I'm sick of the food here it like just wrecks me physically and emotionally lol. We had an a Devotional and I learned that we have to teach our investigators by talking less and letting them talk. Also that we need to teach with all of our heart because the message we are sharing will mean so much more if we do that. 

Wednesday- We learned a lot about the Old Testament and that was pretty interesting but I liked it. I memorized like a 100 words in Creole so that made me way happy like ask me what arm is??? its "Bra" I'm a G.  Then when it came to ball time I freakin balled out I was like the pimp daddy of the gym that day. Every time I  tell a teacher I'm a convert they automatically think I need more help and all this bull but I'm like dawg shut ur face I appreciate your concern but I don't need someone to hold my hand...got to vent a little bit sorry. Anywaysss

Thursday- I started reading the Search for Happiness by M. Russell Ballard. I have read a lot today actually a wayyyy good book. I enjoy it so far. I found a Scripture I like its John 15:12 "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you." I just thought that was money in the bank. There's this song that just makes me so sad but I loveeee it its called "The hardest thing I've ever loved to do" its by Nashville Tribute Band. I taught my Teacher in a one on one lesson and it went soooo good no lie. I taught him about faith and hope and didn't need help with one word so I balled out. Elder Wolfgramm and I had a little heart to heart back at the residence and it was nice I freakin love that kid. 

Today- well today is like Christmas not kidding. Its just the best day ever. Good luck to the Woods Cross football team tonight! hope you don't suck this year like we did last year lol.

HAITINING THE WORK :)

Hello family and friends! Hope all is well for you guys! I don't know where to start!

Last Sunday- We went on our temple walk and guess what?? I met my Boiiii Frank Jackson!!! Elder Spotiswood grew up with him so he introduced me. Frank was just chillin and I was confused. So I took a pic and I was like dawg when ur in the league next year and I'm home from my mish imma post this and say my boy made it. He just laughed at me haha. 

Monday- We had service and that sucked wayyyy bad. My comp and I had to give a lesson a new investigator hahaha ummmm so he like way kicked us out within 3 min he did not want to hear what we had to say he was honestly a jerk face head. I was asking him how work was and how his family was. The bro was like goin off in Creole and he was speaking so fast I couldn't pick up what he was saying haha. He's a fake investigator tho lol.

Tuesday- Not gonna lie to ya'll but Tuesday SUCKED, but what got me through the day was a talk by Elder Holland awhile go. He said that his mission was the hardest thing he's done but he has not gone a day in his life without out thinking about it so that made me happy. Also this thing my baseball coach told all of "Win the day" all I got to do is win that day and get past it. Ya for sure ok next day.

Wednesday- So this day was a lot better for me :) Gym time I was like I'm done balling and I went upstairs and lifted that felt awesome. This sister walked by me and hit me with the "dang elder looking good" and I was like thanks you too! I mean like that was a lie cause it wasn't a sister it was an elder hahaha. The sisters make me feel weird cause they flirt sometimes and I'm like dawg stop flirting I feel weird. hahahah

Thursday- Normal dumb MTC day studying for 9 hours, But we did this Bracket like March madness. Who ever has the best scripture advances hahaha andddd guess what YA BOI won!!! My scripture was Phil 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengthenth me" BOOM. Ya so I balled out on that. 

Today- well I have been up since 5 doing laundry so that sucks hahaha. Probs gonna ball a ton! and going to the temple later so that'll be good :) 

Oh ya funny story so I'm just peeing away ya know then this old dude walks in and goes "where you headed?" I go "New York" he goes "do they provide you with a bullet proof vest with that mission?" I'm like "umm I hope so" like broooo why do you gotta scare me like that hahaha! I love you all and hope you are all doing good and having good lives :)

23 MORE FAST SUNDAYS!

Hey friends and family sooo you could say that Haitian Creole and MTC combined is way hard but I'm still havin a good time! So here's my week.

Last Saturday-I said my first prayer in Creole!!! first one in the district hehe but now they are all better than me so that sucks /:  I dont really have anything in my journal from then besides me going "I could go for a solid make out right about now" hahahaha anywayss 

Last Sunday- It was my first fast Sunday!! It was way fun actually. My comp and I had to give a lesson in priest hood.... they would pick on the new B's. I learned an awesome scripture, so here's the thing I just left my journal in the laundry room so like I don't remember what I did hahahahaha. so next day. Oh we watched this talk called Character of Christ video which was amazing I suggest y'all watch it ASAP.

Monday- We had service, we went and cleaned this building as a district which wasn't too bad. then we had good ol' class for the rest of the day.

Tuesday- Neil Anderson came and gave a talk. My farewell talk was based on one of his talks so that was cool. That bro can speak 4 languages haha, but besides that I don't know what else went down. 

So the rest of the week was the same everyday we kinda just had like 9 hours of class so it was kinda hard haha. I'll just tell you what I remember. I got my hyper dunks in the mail this week!! Shouts to G ma. So playing ball was awesome :) there are so many good players in the MTC I mean like not me good but solid 2nd place for sure. The MTC is tough not gonna lie. I catch myself day dreaming about home and I hate it hahaha. My comp hasn't made me mad yet so that's good. He's awesome he just like chills and just goes with the flow. I love that. This kid named Elder Wilson from Timpview can balllll he's is soo good. He took my cookies yesterday (which means he owned me so hard hahaha) ball between my legs and just owned ugh so bad. Soo there's this thing where when ur name tags starts coming off people go "Someone is thinking about you" and I swear my tag falls off like 3 times a day! So I'm gonna need you guys to stop thinking about me so much ;) If you were to ask me what I miss the most from real life it'd have to be music. I can't pop lock and drop to some Mozart so it kinda bums me out hahahaha. Sorry I'm just jumping around here I just am goin off the top of my head.

I'M SO HAPPY!!!

HEY EVERYONE I'M SO HAPPY!!!

I'm having a good time here so far! So Wednesday was wayyyyyy stressful let me tell ya. My host and I get to my room and he's like you need your scriptures and my like dawg I can't find them and I was sweatin so bad hahaha. So then I get to my class and I surprisingly had kids that were speaking Haitian with me hahaha but ya none of them are going to my mission all going to Florida so that's dumb. First day we had these huge meetings and we talked to people that weren't "members" but they clearly were but I dropped  my testimony on them and shared my conversion story! I had a ton of elders come up to me after and say "wow that really touched me!" No duh it did I'm a beast, but after all that we met with our branch president. He's a way cool old has some serious watch game hahaha. I forgot to say my Haitian teacher taught us earlier and he acted like he was from Haiti but turns out the next day he offers the opening prayer in literally the best English I've ever heard turns out he was born and raised here in Provo so he lied hahaha.

THURSDAY & lil bit of FRIDAY-

oh my gosh literally so long hahaha it was like 4 days in one. My district studied not even kidding 6 hours without a teacher so you could say that was way hard haha. The food here is like good and all but I was farting sooooo bad yesterday g ham wasn't kidding you fart A LOT hahaha) it did not sit well hahaha. My companion is a calculus god hahaha he took like 4 years in highschool so I feel like a huge idiot around him but he's a way cool guy. He didn't play any sports in high school but me and him worked out this morning and I was like his trainer (wish I had like a smerky face but I don't so this is it). So most of Thursday was just learning Creole and the gospel hahaha nothin much!

I don't really have a a lot to say since I'm only on day 3 but I do know that this is what I'm supposed to be doing with  my life. I'm so happy I'm here. MY district is awesome, my zone is awesome, and my comp is awesome! I miss you all and I can't wait to hear from you guys next week! Orevwa!
